Before she was a REALTOR®, Michelle Lozada was an engineer — and that background shapes everything about how she works today.
Michelle holds a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering and spent 14+ years in the biologics and biopharmaceutical industry, building a career in California defined by precision, process, and problem-solving at scale. She's Puerto Rican, bilingual in English and Spanish, and after years on the mainland, she made the move back home herself. She knows firsthand what it takes to relocate to the island — the paperwork, the logistics, the learning curve — because she's lived every step of it.
That personal experience is exactly why she now helps others do the same. Michelle specializes in guiding expats, investors, and Act 60 relocation clients through the process of buying property in Puerto Rico, with deep expertise in Palmas del Mar and the Dorado area. Whether it's a second home, an investment property, or a full relocation, she brings the same engineering mindset to real estate that she brought to the lab: efficient, detail-oriented, and committed to doing things the right way — not just the fast way.
As an investor herself, Michelle understands real estate from both sides of the table. She's trained in entrepreneurship, fluent in the practical realities of building something new, and genuinely energized by helping clients navigate a market and culture that can feel unfamiliar at first but becomes home fast.
When she's not working with clients, you'll find her traveling, seeking out a great meal, or exploring Puerto Rico's coastline near her own home by the beach.
